Our platform analyzes audio recordings in real-time, delivering personalized feedback to help musicians improve their skills. We're seeking a Full Stack Engineer who combines technical expertise with deep musical knowledge to help shape the future of music education.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll drive the end-to-end development of our AI music coaching platform. You'll collaborate with our product designers, AI/ML specialists, and music educators to create an intuitive and powerful learning experience. Your unique combination of technical skills and musical understanding will be crucial in developing features that truly serve musicians' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead frontend and backend development, ensuring robust architecture and seamless user experience

  • Work closely with AI engineers to integrate audio analysis models for real-time performance feedback

  • Develop and optimize music-specific features including pitch detection, tone analysis, and notation visualization

  • Implement cloud infrastructure using Firebase/AWS/Google Cloud for data management and scaling

  • Handle the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment

  • Optimize app performance and implement responsive design principles

  • Debug and resolve technical issues to maintain platform stability

  • Stay current with music technology trends and contribute to product innovation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years full stack development experience with modern frameworks:

    • Frontend: Flutter, React, or similar

    • Backend: Node.js, Python, or Java

  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications

  • Demonstrated experience training AI/ML models

  • Strong proficiency with cloud services (Firebase/AWS/Google Cloud)

  • Solid understanding of music theory and performance principles

  • Experience with audio processing libraries (TensorFlow, Librosa, etc)

  • Track record of independent problem-solving and creative solutions

  • Excellence in team collaboration and technical communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work on audio processing applications

  • Proficiency in mobile app development, especially with Flutter

  • Instrument proficiency and ability to perform repertoire at the difficulty of a Mozart Concerto

  • Experience building scalable applications with significant user bases

  • Strong understanding of audio preprocessing techniques and feature extraction
